Additional Construction Calculators

Two general-purpose tools that don't belong to a single trade. The Construction Material Calculator is a divider: give it an area and a coverage-per-unit rate, or a volume and a yield-per-unit rate, and it returns the number of units — bags, boxes, rolls, sheets — plus an optional cost. It holds no material data of its own, so it's the one to reach for when a product has an unusual coverage and there's no dedicated calculator. The Construction Waste Calculator works the other direction: it estimates the loose debris volume from a demolition or renovation and rounds up to a standard roll-off dumpster size, applying a bulking factor because material takes up more room broken out than in place. Heavy debris — concrete, soil, brick, shingles — is limited by weight, not box size, so check the hauler's tonnage cap.
